I had a birthday recently. It was a very important, and in some ways unwelcome, birthday
In 1996, when we began our company, I was 42 years old. I was at the stage of my life where I began to think very often and thoughtfully of my future. One of the key reasons I joined the other founders to begin Morinda was that I was very motivated to build something of value that I could devote the rest of my professional life to. I considered how the coming years would shape my family, personal growth and all aspects of my life. I put a great deal of thought into my health. I began to take my health more seriously. 

In fact, I can pinpoint that crucial time, spring 1996, as a turning point in my life in nearly every way. The ensuing 18 years have provided such amazing growth, awareness and personal joy; it’s hard to describe. I want to focus on another aspect of the past 18 years though. I want to talk to you about what I’ve witnessed, as a founder of Morinda, during the past 18 years in the lives of real people. 

You see, we had a great vision and passion for Tahitian Noni Juice when we began, but we didn’t honesty grasp the vastness of what we had started. It turns out that Tahitian Noni Juice was a “generational discovery.” What do I mean by this? Simple: Every generation there are discoveries, innovations, ideas that reshape the way people think and act in nearly every part of their life. These discoveries are made in music, fashion, technology, spirituality and of course Health. The Beatles, the personal computer, the iPhone, the environmental movement, Starbucks, fast food, fashion brands—every aspect of our daily life is shaped by trendsetters. We had no idea at the time, but we soon realized that Tahitian Noni Juice was, indeed, a Generational Discovery—a trendsetter product that would reshape the world of healthy living. Through the years, we have received many awards and recognition for the extreme success and growth of Tahitian Noni. I think it is so important to realize that the ultimate reason for this extreme success is the fact that Tahitian Noni was a Generational Idea. It was and is a product that completely redefined the world of supplements. A product that captured the imagination and passion of an entire generation of consumers, and an entire generation of entrepreneurs.

Because, ultimately, it is the entrepreneurs that take the generational message and spread it to the entire world. It is the entrepreneurs, armed with the trendsetting product or idea, that reshape our world. 

Morinda entrepreneurs, over the years, have been rewarded with billions of dollars of commissions, incentives, rewards and lifestyle experiences too numerous to mention and too valuable to add up. Let’s consider how many homes have been purchased, how many families are out of debt, how many people have hope today where there was no hope before, all because of the amazing discovery of Tahitian Noni.

Think of this in terms of my favorite band, The Beatles. The record label, concert promoters, producers and agents would be nothing without the Beatles. Their music, their message, their charisma created the opportunity. These entrepreneurs in the music business were successful because of the generational innovation of the music of The Beatles. 

Or what about Apple and the iPhone? The retailers, distributors, software engineers and app designers would be nowhere without the iPhone. This amazing generational discovery created the opportunity. The entrepreneurs all were successful because the breakthrough discovery of a few individuals who designed and built the iPhone.

Where is this leading?

Every indication leads us to acknowledge that the awareness of AGEs is the most important health discovery in our generation. TruAge is a generational message destined to change behavior, attitude, buying habits and lifestyle for our generation and generations to come. It is not a quiet discovery; it is loud and urgent.

In our comfort zone, we may miss the trend. We may overlook the signs. With all our passion, we urge everyone to look at the facts and realize that TruAge is a message that will give rise to a generation of entrepreneurial activity that will not only remind us of what Tahitian Noni did before, but actually go way beyond!

A recent physician, associated with the development of the TruAge Scanner recently stated that “except for our chronological age, your AGE level is the surest indicator of mortality.” 

AGEs impact every system in the body, and are a root cause of every adverse condition we are worried about. 

Knowing what your AGE level is, knowing how to prevent AGEs and knowing how to manage AGEs in your body could be the most important health message anyone could hear.

How much is one additional year of life worth to you? I truly believe we have a message that will give everyone hope for additional years of life. This is the message we are bringing to the world. Are you ready for it? Do you have the vision for it? Can you see how this changes every part of our business and gives us reason and urgency to contact everyone we know, again and again, no matter how many times we have talked to them in the past?

Our investment, our passion and commitment to the future has put us in an advantageous position in this new trend. We have the science. We have the clinical trials. We have the products and we have the technology to measure and track AGEs in the body.

Where are the Entrepreneurs? 

We love to relive the past. We love to be nostalgic about the past. Let’s use the past to give us an indication of the future. Our original generational discovery, Tahitian Noni Juice, has reshaped our world and created amazing and historic success. 

I invite you to look, with me, into the coming 18 years. In 2032, I’ll be 78 years old. I will be healthy. I will have a solid and vibrant quality of life. I will play ball with my great grand kids and I will continue to educate and spread the TruAge message. 

Morinda will be noted, again, as that company of companies that saw an opportunity and acted. A company that changed the conversation and set the trends. How many more billions of dollars will be paid out to entrepreneurs? How many more millions will be impacted by our message and products, and how many people will be so happy they caught the vision?

Where are the entrepreneurs? Here we are! WE ARE MORINDA!

for me. May 3 was my 60th birthday. Turning 60 was a very hard thing for me to accept. It always seemed so far away and now I am officially “in my 60s.” OUCH!
