"Interactive Health recognized Morinda for helping its employees live healthier lives"
When it comes to being a healthy company, Morinda doesn't just talk the talk - it also walks the walk! And now, we have the award to prove it!
Interactive Health, a company that provides comprehensive health and wellness solutions for other organizations, recently announced the 2013 winners of its annual "Healthiest Companies in America" award.
This is the seventh consecutive year that Interactive Health has been
honoring organizations for their efforts to prioritize employee health
and create an ongoing culture of health.
A total of 68 companies from across the United States were awarded
for their efforts in 2013, and yes, Morinda was one of them. The
following was taken from Interactive Health's website:
"The Healthiest Companies in America award recognizes select American
corporations nationwide for successfully helping their employees live
healthier lives. The award acknowledges companies for their commitment
to the health and well-being of their employees, and the creation of a
corporate culture that encourages everyone to take an active role in
managing their health.
Most importantly, the award recognizes health performance and
outcomes. Organizations who are named Healthiest Companies in America
have achieved a company-wide low risk health status by assisting
employees in improving their health."
Morinda receiving this award shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, given our company's longstanding mission
to use the earth's best ingredients to create products that help people
live younger, longer. But Morinda also does a great deal to promote
employee health.
For examples, employees have free access to a gym here in our
corporate headquarters in Provo, Utah. We just started supplying free
fruit in one of our break rooms, and also have free TruAge Max on tap,
in addition to free access to many of our other products. And our
employees definitely do use our own products, as can be demonstrated by
our Sugar Stop clinical trial and its various success stories (like this one or this one).
And as it just so happens, the very day that this blog is being
published, we are starting a new six-week wellness challenge for
employees. Each week, participants must drink 64 ounces of water each
day, drink two ounces of Max or Tahitian Noni Juice and one serving of
Sugar Stop each day, and exercise continuously for 30 minutes four times
a week.
And to provide extra incentive for employees to take part in this
challenge, Morinda is giving away some great prizes to participants via a
raffle. By meeting the above requirements, employees can earn up to six
raffle tickets, one for each week.
So as you can see, Morinda isn't just all about helping our customers be healthy, but also our employees.
