During the two days that we attended and staffed the Kari Finestein Lounge, we interacted with more than 50 celebrities and 25 media outlets, and as a result saw six pieces of media coverage from the event. We were able to give TruAge Scanner readings to almost every celebrity and give out a ton of AGE Therapy Gel for all of the celebs wanting to look younger (which was everyone)!
We had many Emmy-nominated stars and celebs from Emmy-nominated shows attend our TruAge stand, including Tony Hale, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, Timothy Simons, Dascha Polanco, Sibel Kekilli, Jay R. Ferguson and Alysia Reiner.
Our TruAge stand was also attended by stars from the most popular shows on television. Travis Wall and Mary Murphy from "So You Think You Can Dance" learned their TruAge, and as fit dancers, you can guess that their TruAge was pretty low!
Anne Heche and James Tupper from "Men in Trees" were very excited to see how low their TruAge scores were and loved trying our AGE Therapy Gel.
Vanessa Hudgens from "High School Musical," Jessica Szohr from "Gossip Girl" and Jenna Ushkowitz from "Glee" were all very enthusiastic about maintaining their youthful look by using our AGE Therapy Gel in their daily skin care routine.
As you can imagine, our online presence was at an all-time high because of this event. We tweeted and shared images on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter over the Emmys weekend and saw nice engagement from our posts. The Instagram photo we posted of Vanessa Hudgens with the TruAge Scanner garnered more likes than any other Instagram post we've ever had. The media coverage from this event includes Life & Style Weekly, TooFab.com (here and here), KCAL.com, Huffington Post and Just Jared Jr., with more to come!
Morinda was represented by our Assistant Product Line Manager, Kira Davis, who had this to say about the event:
"I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to attend the Emmys' Style Lounge for Morinda to scan the stars and sample the AGE Therapy Gel. I loved seeing the celebrities get excited about the TruAge message and understanding how they can feel younger, longer. Scanning the stars proved to be the perfect introduction to the Morinda products and I wouldn't be surprised if we hear back from the stars wanting more products and finding a way to see if their TruAge improved."
You might be wondering how the TruAge message could get any larger, but trust us, we are just getting started. Between the work of our IPCs and PR events like this, it will not be long until more and more people are familiar with the TruAge message.
