Revisiting Morinda’s origins and destiny

We’ve just re-released a blast from the past, so come watch our revised “Origins and Destiny” video!


Back in 2004, we released a film titled “Origins and Destiny.” Narrated by famed film, television and stage actor Patrick Stewart, this film explained the history of noni, how eventual Morinda president and founder John Wadsworth came to discover noni, and how the company came to develop our revolutionary Tahitian Noni Juice.

Well, 10 years later, we’ve just revisited this classic video and released an updated version. It now features an introduction from Wadsworth, who explains how Morinda has continued to make progress over the years.

While watching the video, you may notice how certain things have changed over the years. We’re no longer called Tahitian Noni International, we now distribute our products in even more countries than when the video was originally made, we’ve learned more about noni (specifically with the discovery of
iridoids), we’ve created groundbreaking new products, and our founders are a few years older (although they no doubt have a low TruAge!).

But what hasn’t changed is our passion for noni, or our commitment to help people all over the world live younger, longer with the help of the earth’s best ingredients.

"in honor of Morinda’s 18th anniversary, let’s take a look back at what the company has accomplished since forming in 1996"
Eighteen years old is a special milestone. In most countries, it’s the age in which a person is considered an adult. With that being the case, then we can finally say that Morinda is an adult, because the company just turned 18!
In July of 1996, Morinda was officially formed by John Wadsworth, Stephen Story, Kelly Olsen, Kim Asay and Kerry Asay. Tahitian Noni Juice was introduced to the world, and as it turned out, the world really liked it!

And, the world has continued to take notice of what Morinda has done since then. In fact, here are some of the amazing things the company has accomplished since starting 18 years ago:

Every several seconds, Morinda sells a bottle of Tahitian Noni Juice somewhere in the world.

Morinda experienced a 300 percent growth in revenue in its first five years of operations and continues to grow each year. In fact, Morinda has been recognized as the fourth fastest-growing company in modern history (behind Google, Intel, and Federal Express).

Morinda was the first company to harvest, source, and distribute a noni-based product to the consumer market.

Morinda has contributed more than $141 million dollars to the economy of Tahiti, and was the recipient of the Corporate & Social Responsibility Award from the country of Tahiti at the United Nations Headquarters.

Morinda is now in more than 70 countries worldwide, and currently employs more than 3,000 individuals at its corporate offices around the world.

Morinda has paid out nearly $3 billion in commissions, distributing paychecks to more than 1.1 million of its distributors in more than 70 countries. In addition, the company has created more than 250 millionaires.

With $125 million spent on research and development, 18 published human clinical trials (several of which were featured in the Physician’s Desk Reference), and a state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar laboratory dedicated to product research, Morinda’s science is unparalleled in the network marketing industry.
